ECL19 | Big Pav and more

Cluj president Pavel Florin has become an unlikely cricket superstar after his unique bowling went viral at the European Cricket Champions League #ECL19. Florin unfortunately broke his leg last week, but battled on gamely despite the injury to send the internet into a spin. “Big Pav” and his Cluj teammates return to action early on day 3 against Italian champions Brescia who were docked all their points after fielding an illegible player.
Russia’s champions St. Petersburg face Dreux next up at 11am with Ahmad Nabi from the French champions in prime form after completing the #ecl19 first-ever century with an electrifying 105 off just 30 balls.
Favourites to be crowned the kings of Europe, Rotterdam clinched top spot after beating Denmark's Svanholm for their third consecutive group game success and will take on home favourites Catalunya in the opening semi-final.
Buoyed by a couple of precious wins on Tuesday, German champions Findorff clinched a battling final four spot and take on Svanholm in the second semi-final. The Danish champions have impressed as a unit, but talented young all-rounder Mads Henriksen’s performances have caught the eye in particular.
